Pernille Frankmar | Our Team

Pernille Frankmar obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative Religion from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and thereafter obtained her Master’s Degree in Sociology of Religion. Ms. Frankmar attended and obtained her Juris Doctorate Degree from Duquesne University School of Law and is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar. Ms. Frankmar specializes in Family law – including matrimonial and domestic relations matters such as divorce, custody, support, alimony, and equitable distribution. She also capably handles wills, estates, and trusts.

Before joining Lieber Hammer Huber & Paul, P.C., Ms. Frankmar was a sole practitioner under Frankmar Law, LLC, specializing in Family Law Matters in Oakmont, PA. Prior to going out on her own, Ms. Frankmar practiced family law with the firm of Voelker & Kairys, LLC, in downtown Pittsburgh. Previously, Ms. Frankmar interned in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, Family Division, for the Honorable Judge Kim Eaton, and worked as a certified legal intern, representing pro se litigants, with the Allegheny County Family Court Pro Se Motions Program, which she continues to do to this day. Ms. Frankmar holds memberships in the Allegheny County Bar Association and American Bar Association and is also a member of the ACBA Family Law Section counsel serving as the co-chair of the Social Division.

Ms. Frankmar has been honored to be selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for the years 2019-2023.

Ms. Frankmar is a dual Danish and American citizen and has resided in the United States since 2003. Prior to making America her home, she resided in Denmark, England and Israel.
